Image of past our first The Body Project participants!

The Body Project Program made its appearance on Auraria Campus in Fall 2022.

Our office partners on this program with CU Denver’s Center for Access and Campus Engagement, CU Denver Health Promotions, and Health Center at Auraria.

The Body Project is a tri-institutional, student-led program providing women and femme* students opportunities to confront unrealistic beauty standards, boost self-esteem, have fun, and make new friends!

When you sign-up to attend The Body Project workshop, you will be attending a two-part workshop that is either a few days or a week apart from one another. These workshops are 2 hours long (totaling 4 hours at the end of the program) and will require participants to complete “homework” in preparation for the second part of the full workshop. Once you complete the workshop, you will receive a certificate of completion.

Please note: The Body Project is not group therapy or treatment for eating disorders. If you are concerned that you or a friend are struggling with an eating disorder, please contact your school’s Counseling Center (MSU Denver, CU Denver, CCD).

*Despite this program being tailored towards women and femme folks, EVERYONE is welcome to attend the workshops
