The Body Project is a tri-institutional, student-led program providing women and femme* students opportunities to confront unrealistic beauty standards, boost self-esteem, have fun, and make new friends!
When you sign-up to attend The Body Project workshop, you will be attending a two-part workshop that is either a few days or a week apart from one another. These workshops are 2 hours long (totaling 4 hours at the end of the program) and will require participants to complete “homework” in preparation for the second part of the full workshop. Once you complete the workshop, you will receive a certificate of completion.

Join The Phoenix Center at Auraria to learn about the history of incel culture, the demographics of folks who engage in this culture, and how to work toward combatting the ideologies in this culture.
This training will be hosted on Thursday, April 9th from 12:30PM-2PM on Zoom.

NOTE: You are welcome to bring your own Switch console to this event. You do not need to identify as a survivor to attend this event. This event is free and open to everyone.

Join us for our first Survivor Night of the Spring semester!
For the month of love, create your own manifestation jars with crystals, herbs, flowers, essential oils, and any small symbolic item you want to bring to build your intentions for the year!
Attendees will also have the chance to write themselves, or a friend, love letters to remind themselves to engage in self-compassion, grace, and of their intentions for the year.
This event will be hosted Tuesday, February 10th from 3:30PM-5:30PM in Tivoli 444.

In honor of Relationship Violence Awareness Month, join The Phoenix Center at Auraria and our panel of experts in the violence prevention and intervention field to discuss how folks who exhibit abusive behaviors can change these behaviors, how our culture and systems create barriers for change and re-enforce these behaviors, what is currently being done to address abusive behaviors, and more.
