LUNCH & LEARN SERIES
Each semester, The Phoenix Center at Auraria hosts lunch and learn workshops free to Auraria Campus.
Workshops either cover the PCA’s core prevention curriculum or custom prevention curriculum. Free food is provided to attendees of the in-person workshops. Learn more about the upcoming Spring 2026 workshops below.

PSYCHOLOGY OF VICTIM BLAMING (VIRTUAL)
This educational workshop will examine victim blaming through the lens of psychological theories to understand the manifestations of victim blaming, its impacts, and strategies to reduce victim blaming behaviors.
This training will be hosted on Monday, February 23rd from 2PM-3:15PM on ZOOM.

This workshop will be hosted on Monday, March 3rd from 12:30PM-1:45PM in Tivoli Multicultural Lounge (261).

FAITH, CULTURE, AND SUPPORTING SURVIVORS
Join The PCA in learning how to better support survivors whose faith or cultural background shapes how they interpret abuse, disclosure, and help‑seeking.
This workshop will be hosted on April 7th from 12:30PM-1:45PM in Tivoli Multicultural Lounge (261).

UNDERSTANDING INCEL CULTURE (VIRTUAL FOR FACULTY & STAFF)
Join The Phoenix Center at Auraria to learn about the history of incel culture, the demographics of folks who engage in this culture, and how to work toward combatting the ideologies in this culture.
This training will be hosted on Thursday, April 9th from 12:30PM-2PM on Zoom.
