Support Group

Safe Space is a psycho-educational support group for woman student survivors of sexual assault at CCD and CU Denver. The group usually meets for six to eight weeks in the Spring semester.

Safe Space aims to provide a healing, safe, and empowering space for survivors to receive education and support around their experiences with sexual assault.  During sessions, group members can share stories and connect with other survivors, discuss the effects of living as a survivor on all aspects of their lives, and learn coping mechanisms.

Group meetings times for 2012 have not yet been determined. Please contact the PCA if you are interested.

The group is open to woman student survivors from the Community College of Denver and the University of Colorado Denver only.
