Get Involved

Working with the PCA can be an incredibly rewarding experience! As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on our volunteers, student staff, and interns to keep our doors open and our programs flourishing! In addition to professional staff openings which can be found here, we have a few different ways to get involved as a student or volunteer. Here are our programs at a glance. Violence Prevention Education Team

Violence Prevention Educators (VPE) are students who receive 30 hours of training to provide consistent, thorough information about relationship violence, sexual violence, stalking, and related topics to the Auraria community. VPEs are involved in the design of prevention and education programs and their implementation. VPEs actively engage in campus awareness activities, classroom presentations, and educational presentations.

The VPE position is primarily a work-study or academic internship position, running from August to May.
